VALLEY VIEW COMMUNITY CHURCH
COVID UPDATE: 6/30/21
At Valley View, we have opened our building and continue to be mindful of the pandemic. We will continue to follow the CDC guidelines put forth by our local officials & authorities to keep everyone who chooses to worship with us as safe as possible.
Currently, these are the practices that we are following:
We will promote healthy hygiene practices at all church functions; i.e, frequent handwashing, respiratory etiquette including covering coughs and sneezes, and encouraging those who are feeling sick to stay home.
We will continue to have several hand sanitizer stations as well as thoroughly clean and disinfect the building prior to each Sunday morning gathering. We will also continue to use the pandemic comfort bracelet system (see below).
Based on the CDC guidelines, those who have been vaccinated are not required to wear a mask during our gatherings. If you have not been vaccinated, we do ask that you wear a mask to protect yourself as well as others who might not be vaccinated, such as our children and those who are immunocompromised.
PANDEMIC COMFORT BRACELETS
***As a way for each of us to communicate our comfort level with physical contact, we are offering communication bracelets. Red = "I'm a waver, happy to see you from a distance." Yellow = "I'm good with a fist or elbow bump but still cautious." Green = "I am good with hugs, bring it on!" Please grab your bracelet color at the lobby table when you come in the front doors.
