Pamoza: Miles for Malawi 5K 2023

Imagine having to walk everywhere for your most basic needs. Walking to get water or firewood, walking to see a doctor or to go to school, walking to church or to visit your friends. That is the reality for people in rural Malawi.

MILES FOR MALAWI is Pamoza's annual 5K fundraiser to support our programs in rural Malawi so that the families we serve can have easier access to the basic resources they need to thrive. Join us on May 6 at Smedley Park. Walk or run with your family and friends then stick around to learn how to balance water on your head, drum a beat, get a taste of Malawian food, and more! During the registration process, you will have an opportunity to join or create a team. You can join our church team. You will also have the opportunity to donate to someone raising money for Malawi or become a fundraiser yourself. That is completely optional.
