Norristown "Adopt a Block" service opportunity

Join us as we adopt a block in Norristown! We've had an ongoing relationship with Pastor Mario over at Power of the Cross Church and this is a way we can join them in service. 

We will be sweeping up trash, handing out plants or flowers to folks at approximately 50 homes, offering prayer and socializing in community with a BBQ in the church parking lot. The Power of the Cross church community will also be setting up tents to offer clothing and other things people might need (ie strollers). 

Here are the details:

Volunteers who want to help set up tents can arrive at 9:30am.

Volunteers who want to help with the adopt-a-block can arrive at 11:00am.

(Cleaning the street, handing out flowers door-to-door. Offering to pray. Playing with the kids—sidewalk chalk/bubbles)

What to bring: broom/dustpan, gloves, any clothes or items you might want to donate 

Park in the lot across the street from the church at the corner of Haws and W Mt Airy.
