WOMEN'S MONTHLY BOOK CLUB

REEL LIFE - MOVIE ON THE LAWN

THIS COMING SATURDAY, September 11, we will be hosting a movie night on the lawn at Sunnyside. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets (and the kids!), enjoy free popcorn and hot dogs. On Saturday, October 2, we will host a kids' consignment sale. Buy or consign gently-used kids' clothing, toys, and gear. All the current back-to-school sales provide great opportunities to stock up on pencils, crayons, markers, notebooks, pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners and calculators. These are great items that needy children around the world would love to receive in their Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.

PERPETUAL NEEDS FOR HOMELESS SHELTER

We know the homeless shelter has been facing some tough times this year, especially the bedbug problem. They are in constant need of clothing, including new underwear. They also need bacterial cleaning wipes and soap. You can bring donations at any time and place them in the designated container in the lobby. We want this to be an encouragement to the residents and especially to director Genny O'Donnell.

PERPETUAL FOOD DRIVE

We have a perpetual food drive here at Valley View. You can bring items anytime. The food will be shared between the Phoenixville and Schwenksville food banks. If you bring donations, look for the blue container.

MEN'S GROUP

A group for the men meets every other Tuesday evening from 8:00-10:00 at the home of John T. in Collegeville. The group usually consists of a Bible study or teaching series. Men can experience a smaller community setting to help them grow in their love for Christ and strengthen their walk with him. If you're interested, please contact John at 610.745.1193.
