So much happens in the adolescent years that shapes our identity for life. Questions about morals and values surface and conclusions are drawn from life's experiences. Truth is, there's a lot of growing up that occurs in the teen years. Because of that, it's vital for kids to have a safe place to share, dialogue, and think through these things. Element is one of these safe places for teens. We want to walk through life with students from 8th through 12th grade. We want to build relationships and show kids the love that Jesus has to offer each of them. We want to create environments where students can explore and learn who God is and what role Jesus plays in their lives. In these environments, we hope to see teens come to embrace their own faith and begin the journey of following Christ and living for His Kingdom. Valley View Community Church is along side us the whole way!
We meet on Sunday mornings and select Sunday afternoons. Check out the list of events.
Sunday Morning: We meet from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday of each month (on the 1st & 5th Sunday we stay in the 10:30 a.m. worship gathering). These are times when kids can explore their own relationship with Jesus in a variety of formats including: in-house and guest speakers, videos, discussions of tough questions and the challenges of real life.
Sunday Afternoon: We meet on the 1st Sunday of each month from 12:00-2:30pm. Sunday afternoons are built around relationships and fun. We play games, laugh really hard, and have fun with each other while building great memories. Check out some of the fun events we have had this year so far.
We want all our Element events to provide a safe, fun place where teens in 8th through 12th grade can learn and grow in their relationship with Jesus, their leaders, and each other!
